Tanner May-Poole is an environmental professional with more than 15 years of experience across various governments and the private-sector. His work has included environmental engineering, environmental assessment, project management, and public policy. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science from Western University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria.
Over the course of his career, Tanner has worked on projects including consultation with First Nations, engagement with the public and local communities, and coordination with government agencies. Through this work he has gained an appreciation for the different perspectives involved in complex projects and the importance of finding practical solutions.
Outside his professional career, Tanner has experience in outdoor education and nonprofit work, including volunteering with Engineers Without Borders Canada.
